The HCC Black History Committee

The Houston Community College Black History Committee was created to sponsor scholarships for African-American students and students of African heritage attending HCC.

The group works in partnership with the HCC Foundation, an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization.

The Black History Committee has several annual events - including its Black History Scholarship Gala February 23, 2019 - to support its scholarship efforts and to highlight black history.
